Inspiration for this piece came from what one finds along sandy beaches when the tide goes out. There is a companion piece to this painting and both together would make a very handsome arrangement.
This heavily textured mixed media/collage painting on 2" deep cradled panel measures 8" x 10". The sides of the cradled panel are painted in a shimmery black Micaceous Iron Oxide. It is signed on the side, dated and signed on the back. The painting is wired and ready to hang.
